I Wish is an upcoming fantasy mixed media short film, shot in one day and made in a month from conception to final edit by myself (Finlee Shipstone) M Lousie and Emma Filby. Through its mix of live action filmmaking and animation, visually engrossing use of colour and costuming , hand made props and set design all tired together by it's magical score, the film won the New Genesis short film competition and is to be screened at their upcoming film festival. The film follows a unique and nostalgic premise what happens when Eve's wish to disappear from her 18th birthday party comes true, and she is magically transported to a world to were she can understand the disillusionment she feels with her life on the brink of adulthood.
